” Peace on earth ” … a musical evening performed by the ARBA Band

” Peace on earth ” was the title of the musical evening performed by the ARBA Band at the Syriac Catholic Diocese in Homs on October 5, 2024, under the direction of Jamil Al-Bitar. The event was attended by the Bishop of the Diocese, esteemed guests, and believers.

The music played by ARBA’s musicians, along with the angelic voices of the choir, nourished the souls yearning for peace, calm , and safety amidst these difficult times.

The ARBA Band was founded in 2021 under the supervision and leadership of Maestro Jamil Al-Bitar. The group performs classical and vocal works from various eras, with a particular focus on the Baroque period, featuring four distinct voice types: Alto, Soprano, Bass, and Tenor. The ensemble strives to promote the culture of this music both locally and globally.

Their official concert debut took place in the cities of Aleppo and Damascus in 2022. In 2023, they held a concert tour titled “A Cry for Peace and Mercy” in honor of the souls of martyrs and those suffering in several Syrian provinces.
