He continued his primary lessons at Yabrud Episcopal School.

He entered the seminary of the Monastery of Our Lady of Deliverance Al-Sharafah in 1958, where he followed preparatory and secondary studies until 1967. He continued philosophy and theology lessons at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, a degree in liturgy, and a degree in theology.

After completing a pastoral year in Homs, during which he worked as a professor in Homs schools and founded the Marian Brotherhood, he traveled to France between 1973 and 1976, where he obtained a master’s degree in philosophy from the Sorbonne University, and then a doctorate in the history of political and moral philosophy.

He married Mrs. Josephina Thevotes in Rome and then returned to Homs, where he was ordained to the priesthood in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in 1977.

He served in Tumen Parish from 1977 until 1992, in addition to Homs Parish.

In 2008, He was ordained to the rank of  (al khor ouscof)

Pastoral tasks:

Spiritual guide in the parish of Homs for the Holy Rosary Sisterhood for Women, the Marian Brotherhood (universities and Christian education), and the Charitable League Association, founder of the sisterhoods of Mary’s families in Homs, Damascus and Aleppo.

National Spiritual Advisor to the Congregations of Families of Mary in Syria,

 Head of the Primitive Spiritual Court of the Syriac Catholic community in Homs,

 Judicial Vicar in the Archdiocese of Homs, Hama, Nabek and its environs, founder of the Syrian Brotherhood Family in Homs to treat physically disabled children, responsible for the Bible Committee in Syria for many years, responsible for Christian education in Homs.
