Pope’s April prayer intention: ‘for the role of women’<\/h1>\n
Pope Francis releases his prayer intention for the month of April 2024, and invites everyone to pray for the role of women.<\/div>\n

The Pope invited the Church to pray for this intention in this month’s\u00a0The Pope Video<\/i>, which is entrusted to the entire\u00a0Catholic Church\u00a0through the\u00a0Pope\u2019s Worldwide Prayer Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n

the Holy Father insists on the steps today\u2019s society needs to take, and asks Christians to join him in prayer.<\/p>\n

he said :<\/p>\n

In many parts of the world women are treated like the first to get red of.<\/p>\n

There are countries where women are forbidden to access aid ,open a business or go to school..<\/p>\n

In these places, they are subject to laws that make them dress a certain way.<\/p>\n

and in many countries ,genital mutilation is still practiced.<\/p>\n

let us not deprived women of there voice.<\/p>\n

Let us not rob all these abused women of their voice<\/p>\n

They are exploited, marginalized.<\/p>\n

In theory, we all agree that men and women have the same dignity as persons, but this does not play out in practice<\/p>\n

Governments need to commit to eliminate discriminatory laws everywhere ,and work toward guaranteeing women\u2019s human rights.<\/p>\n

Let us respect women<\/p>\n

Let us respect their dignity ,their basic rights.<\/p>\n

And if we don\u2019t , our society will not progress<\/p>\n

Let us pray that the dignity and worth of women be recognized in every culture<\/p>\n

And for an end to the discrimination they faced in various parts of the word.<\/p>\n
