Celebrating Holy Thursday and the ritual of washing feet in the Syriac Catholic Archdiocese of Homs

the Syriac Catholic Archbishop of Homs, Hama, and Nabek,  Mar yulian Yacoub Murad, presided over the Divine Liturgy on the occasion of Holy Thursday.

Mass was attended by priests of the diocese, deacons and faithful

And was served by the choir of the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Hamidiya.

On the tune of Syriac hymns and in an atmosphere full of greed and reflection,

Bishop Murad celebrated the rank of foot washing. he  bowed and washed the feet of Twelve young parishioners, including young men from the “Faith and Light” family,

This is a reflection of Jesus’ deed, which carries the dimension of humility and the renewal of the depth of divine

love found in the heart of man and distorted by sin.
