Pentecost Sunday and the Feast of the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Al-Hamidiyah – Homs.
The Syriac Archbishop Mar Julian Yacoub Murad, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Nabek and its dependencies, presided over the Divine Mass on the occasion of Pentecost Sunday, sunday of the descents of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples and their departure to proclaim the good news throughout the universe. He also celebrated the Rite of Blessing of Holy Water and the Feast of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit with the participation of father Michel Numan, the parish priest.
In his speech, Bishop Murad reflected on the spiritual meanings of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God is able to create in the heart of each one of us a new human being through His Holy Spirit, saintly children of our heavenly Father. Today, by the grace of the Holy Spirit, we must be a clear testimony to the message of Christ, the message of love and peace in our societies.
